Earlier this year, AS and A level students of German received their new hoodies in the colours of the German flag, schwarz, rot und gold. The slogan on the back of the hoodies, Deutsch@Wyke, has now been linked to Wyke’s email system, so that interested new students, who see this address, can email straight through to the German Department.
To celebrate the end of term and the wearing of the hoodies for the first time, students also enjoyed sampling and commenting on German specialities whilst listening to German Christmas carols.
