Malmedy Exchange for Wyke Students
15 June 2009
Students from Wyke visited Malmedy in the French speaking part of Belgium, as part of an exchange programme which has been running for 15 years.
On the outbound journey, the students were lucky to be able to take advantage of a trip to Bruges, where they made good use of the chocolate shops, stocking up on Easter eggs.

Award Winning Wyke Student

Emma Challis, 18, is a first year student at Wyke, studying for a BTEC National Diploma in IT. She recently received an award from the 'Hull Prize Fund and Alderman Sydney Smith Prize Fund' in recognition of her work at Wyke.
During the Easter break, Emma attended the BCS Women Undergraduate Lovelace Colloquium event at Leeds University and she found it to be a very positive experience.
