Wyke students are once again celebrating success in the league tables with an impressive average points score per student in A levels and equivalent qualifications of 832.5. This is a 5.5 point increase on our results from last year and an incredible 111.4 points better than the national average.

It also confirms with this score that Wyke students achieve the best of any state-funded school or college in Hull and the travel-to-learn area of the East Riding villages and the towns to the west and north of the city.

Dr Richard Smith, Principal at Wyke, congratulated students, commenting: “These figures reflect the hard work and dedication at Wyke. The average points score per student shows the full package of achievement of every leaver: their ‘equipment for the future’. We are delighted to see yet another rise to 832.5. Yet again, this is the best score of any publicly funded college or school in all of the East Riding and Hull. It is testament to the skill and expertise of the staff here and to the effectiveness of the sixth form college approach to post 16 education.”

To find out why Wyke is so successful, visit the college on the February Open Evening. The event is held on 10th February, 4.30pm-7.00pm.
