Level 1 and Entry : Certificate in Adult Literacy Levels 1 and 2 (OCR)
Who is the course for?
This course is for students who have not yet achieved a grade D or above in English. The course will enable students to improve their skills in written and spoken communication.
Content outline
Looking at the communication skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening in the contexts in which they are needed.
Method of assessment
Assessment is through a short test, taken when the students are ready. Students will be able, after passing the test, to submit a portfolio of work and achieve a Key Skills award as well.
