Level 2 : English Literature GCSE (WJEC)
Who is the course for?
This is for students who may or may not have studies the subject before, but who would enjoy and benefit from the study of a wide range of literary texts. Students need to have achieved at least a grade D in English or English Language or English Literature.
Content outline
The course involves lots of reading, discussing and writing. Our focus is, of course, works of literature: novels, short stories, poems and plays.
Method of assessment
Two externally assessed examinations (75%), controlled assessment (25%).
