Level 3 : AS/A Level General Studies (OCR)
Who is the course for?
As part of their programme of study most second year A level students are required to take General Studies. The A level General Studies qualification demonstrates a breadth in learning which is valued by employers and contributes valuable UCAS tariff points to a student’s total points score being considered by universities.
Content outline
The course contains elements of interest to ‘arts’ 'science’ and 'humanities' orientated students. It is based around three 'domains' - Cultural, Social and Scientific - and focuses largely on topical issues of concern to our society.
