Travelling to Wyke

Travel Information for September 2013-14

The maximum single fare for a journey to Wyke will continue to be £1.

There are various timetabled services available, including the new Hornsea, Holme on Spalding Moor, Withernsea, Goole and Burton upon Stather links.

This means that students from all areas of Hull, the East Riding and North Lincolnshire will be able to take advantage of convenient and competitively priced travel.

All of these bus services will run term time from September 2013 and during Wyke Start, 1-3 July.

Burton upon Stather Minibus - New for 2013

The College will be introducing an additional service for students travelling from the South Bank area from September 2013.

The service will commence in Burton upon Stather and travel to the College via Walcot, Alkborough, West Halton and Winteringham every morning and make the return journey every evening (term time only).

Fares will be £1 each way (£10 per week).

Holme on Spalding Moor Minibus - Revised for 2013

The College will be introducing a revised service for students travelling from the Holme on Spalding Moor and Market Weighton area from September 2013.

The service will commence in Holme on Spalding Moor and travel to the College via Market Weighton, Sancton, North Newbald, Walkington, Little Weighton and Skidby every morning and make the return journey every evening (term time only).

Fares will be £1 each way (£10 per week).

Hornsea Minibus - New for 2013

The College will be introducing a new service for students travelling from the Hornsea area from September 2013.

The service will commence in Hornsea and travel to the College via Brandesburton, Leven, Tickton, Walkington, Woodmansey and Dunswell every morning and make the return journey every evening (term time only).

Fares will be £1 each way (£10 per week).

Withernsea Minibus - New for 2013

The College will be introducing a new service for students travelling from the Withernsea area from September 2013.

The service will commence in Withernsea and travel to the College via Patrington, Ottringham, Keyingham and Thorngumbald every morning and make the return journey every evening (term time only).

The College will be introducing a new service for students travelling from the area from September 2013.

The service will commence in Goole and travel to the College via Howden, Eastrington, Gilberdyke and Newport every morning and make the return journey every evening (term time only).

The College service for students travelling from the South Bank area.

The service will commence in Winterton and travel to the College via South Ferriby and Barton every morning and make the return journey every evening (term time only).

EYMS service for students travelling from the Holderness area.

The service will commence in Withernsea and travel to the College via Hollym, Patrington, Ottringham,Keyingham, Burstwick, Thorngumbald, Hedon, Marfleet Lane, Southcoates Lane & Interchange

Normal fares are charged on this route but students will be reimbursed by Wyke to £10 per week.
