Corporation Member (Chair of the Corporation designate)

We are excited to offer the opportunity to play a crucial role in the future development of the college as a member of our Corporation, willing to take on the role of Chair. We are seeking a future Chair to lead the Corporation Board comprised of individuals from business, education, the local community, staff, students and parents. Together, they are the ultimate decision-making body for the college, responsible for the educational character and mission of the institution and with oversight of its activities. The role is not remunerated but does offer a unique opportunity to contribute to developing the future leaders of our society whilst ensuring that good governance is at the heart of college activity.

The successful candidate would be initially appointed as a Member of the Corporation to allow for a thorough induction by shadowing the present Chair and provide time to meet and work with the other Members, ensuring compatibility before recommendation for appointment to Chair by the Corporation.

The successful applicant needs to have an ability to work in partnership within and outside the college, be able to challenge and debate in a respectful and thought-provoking way. Critical to the role will be experience of leading teams and insights on the function of Governance would be valued. Further information can be found in the role description within the links below.
