Teacher of PE

Wyke is a well subscribed, highly successful Sixth Form College with an outstanding reputation in the locality. The college draws students from Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, and further afield.
The PE department at Wyke is thriving and currently has over 200 students studying examination sport. We also offer extra-curricular sport to all members of the college and currently have over 250 students who regularly participate and compete for the college. In addition the department offers ‘recreational’ clubs which provide the opportunity for over 100 students a week to partake in sporting activities in their leisure time, these include, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Zumba, American Football, wheelchair Rugby and Volleyball.
A well-qualified Teacher of PE is required to teach across the range of courses including A-level and BTEC. A willingness to contribute to College teams and extra-curricular sport is essential as the department is looking to strengthen its provision.
