The EPQ is a chance to gain a recognised qualification (weighted as half an A-Level), by allowing you to embark on a largely self-directed and self-motivated project of your choice.
Students independently choose a topic, plan, research and develop their idea and decide on their finished product. A finished product may take the form of a research based written report a production or an artefact.
This enrichment takes place in your first year. Typically, you will be expected to attend 2 sessions per week. You will also have independent time to complete work.
A recognised qualification which is equivalent to half an a Level in UCAS points.
