The Additional Learning Support team here at Wyke are delighted to announce that they have formed a new partnership with Matthew’s Hub.
Matthew’s Hub are a support service for autistic people aged 13 or over, living in Hull or the East Riding who have, or are awaiting a diagnostic assessment. They provide advice and support in relation to employment, education, housing, benefits, health, and diagnosis.
On the last Friday of each month, students are welcome to join our ‘Feel Good Friday!’ sessions in the Student Support Hub (Oak 3), where Betty from Matthew’s Hub, as well as members of Wyke staff, will be available to speak to.
Everyone is welcome! We hope that you will join our sessions and let us know your thoughts and ideas in relation to how we might shape our partnership for the benefit of autistic people here at Wyke, now and in the future.
Our first session will take place on Friday 27th January, 12.40 – 1.40pm.
