With still months of the academic year to come, it has been an exceptional 2025–26 at Wyke, with students, staff, and alumni earning recognition for their talent, dedication, and hard work.
Earlier this year, our Law students won the Yorkshire heat of the Bar Mock Trial Competition, securing a place in the national final and ranking within the top 10% of teams across the UK.
At the BAFTAs, Wyke alumnus Robert Aramayo made a remarkable impact on the film industry, winning two acting awards and standing out among some of the biggest names in cinema.
Most recently, Holly Jackson received the prestigious Helen Kitching Psychology Teacher of the Year Award 2026. The judging panel highlighted her innovative approach to bringing careers into the classroom, supporting students from diverse backgrounds across Yorkshire and the Humber, and her significant contribution to developing a CBT‑inspired educational programme.
