WHAT IS PRE-LINGUISTICS?

Welcome to Pre-Linguistics, your gateway to the exciting world of Language at a degree level, covering everything from speech therapy to forensic linguistics and giving you access to significant modern linguists and a glimpse into doing the subject at university.

WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT?

In our weekly Pre-Linguistics enrichment program, we explore language through research, online tools like Google N grams, and practical applications in fields like speech therapy, journalism, and forensic linguistics.

Additionally, we delve into the psychology of communication and use corpora to uncover linguistic patterns.

You'll also investigate renowned linguists' work, attend talks by experts, and enjoy a university visit, offering a comprehensive and immersive linguistic experience over the course of a year.
